Today's sermon definitely brings alot out of me =)

Titus 3:9-11

哎呀呀~~ 我失业啦！*。*

Have you ever tried being unemployed? WEEeeelll.....'I had'. =(

I just felt doubly sad and depressed within the inner me today. Although I am not fired nor unemployed on intentional purposes, it just felt funny inside me. hmmm...

Today, I went down to Recruit Express at Raffles to sign a contract initially. I was bringing much hope and anticipation towards starting on a Temp. job next Mondayat Singtel Telecom. Unfortunately, after reading through the contract, I realised I am unable to commit full 3 months for this temp. job. =( There will be penalty of paying one month salary to the agency if the contract is broken. hmm...reason being, MBS haven't get back to me regarding the commencement date. ~.~ *Arghhhh~~~!!!!!* This is devastating! Even starting on a part-time career is hard for me, not because of my ability, my look or qualification, But THEM !!! !!! Grrrrr....Time to pray hard for one! MBS~ are you going to do something???

Temp. job gone like this...nvm...i'll call them tmr and ask for an estimated time...

昨天一整夜，经过一天的劳累，

精疲力尽的身体，仿佛像只飞尽的小鸟似的,

回到自己的温暖鸟窝里, 躺卧在自己熟悉的味道中，正想绵绵入睡。。。

但是，她翻来覆去了，

五分钟，

十分钟，

十分钟，

半小时，

一小时，

两小时。。。。。。

数次数了许多次的绵羊，都无法入眠。。。

头脑似乎胡乱奔跑，

跑得脚步充满了种种的思索，

解不了的迷，

和许许多多的事与物。

她好几次试着叫自己好好的睡一觉，

但脑袋却不听话地选择了像盘旋般一样，不停的盘旋着。。。。。。

这盘旋越旋转，感觉就像掉进很深的洞一般，越陷越深。

这种感觉真难受。好烦，好烦。。。

闷在心里也不是，说出来也不是，我该怎么做呢？？？

Why do girls easily get triggered over trivial matters with guys?

Ans: Guys are just too insensitive. or are just girls being too sensitive?

Have you ever wondered why a girl sparked off in flame easily when a guy merely did or say something provoking? Wuaha... these have been seen as something too common in the daily lives. All of my friends have at least asked me once out of theirs curiosity. Therefore, let's slowly reveal them one by one as day goes by just as we can take a lifetime to discover. Inputs are gladly welcome.

Observation #1:
When a person gets back from his/her long day of hard work,
(or you know he/she ought to be dragged from something),
Instead of all the agitative and tormenting words to get the nerves or upset the other,
What One longs to Hear from their companion was Words of Care, Concerns & Comfort.

Scenerio A:
(Before One knocks off from work, the guy is sweet enough to ask the girl to take good care)

"Hey Dear, text me after your work ya? Take care!"

(After work, The girl replied and text him back, showing signs of tiredness and relieves. In spite of how exhausted she was, she still wants to ascertain everything is doing well on the other side!)

"*.* Finally! I've finished my work! How are you doing?"

(Sadly, the girl didn't receive a message which helps to relieve both her lethargic body and mind...in contrary, what she has received was concerning of the other party...... hmm.........
Simply being ignored, here's what she'd received:)

"Ohhhh... I now trying to get back somethings from a cute girl lol."

[Originally, this girl had a kind of mood which flies over the moon that day. Filled with night breezes, coated with gentleness and treated with calmness.
Nevertheless, the mood hurt it's wings and fell with a tudd onto the ground where parts of it are shattered. (luckily, only minor parts) at...
The moment the girl saw the message. She was speechless. Prevaily, some nasty worms of sudden slight unhappiness begin to crawl in her. She didn't reply. However, the guy was insensitive... ... *sms ring tone*, here comes another sms:]

"Wuah...i really cant get back from her...next time if you get to see her, please do so for me..."

[O.o "That's all he could says????" No signs of love and concerns, no signs of Her existence..suddenly, she felt like an invisible material in the eyes of the another. How sad~~!!!]

[Although she's disconcerted by the matter, she decided to keep calm and plays the tune of the another...probably, the guy has fallen asleep. This time without even a usual sweet goodnight message that he usually would send. Imagine how despair the girl is~~? =( ]

Sometimes, a person must just learned how to catch hold of the right timings.
Occasional jokes and arrows of the same gender of your companions are totally fine! It's only a matter of how frequent and when you play it. Be sensitive and feel the way he/she feels! Find out when One could take it & when One would not... It's a matter of time.
It's at your finger tips.

... ...'GAD' GENERALIZED ANXIETY DISORDER... ...
"Have i got them?" Don't worry..we have got the cure in hand... =)

During my quiet time this morning, i came across a paragraph about GAD.
"Are you worrying about your bills, future, health, payments, marriage...etc." "Are you being tied up with matters that makes you unbreatheable, and got a feeling that you're actually turning into a 'Worrying Machine' very soon?"
These are the symptoms of GAD. ><

Having anxiety once in a while is fine, but if it last, it becomes a sickness.

Therefore, the CURE IS:
Whenever there's anything troubling you,
whenever you are in down times,
whenever you feel everything is impossible,
LEAVE IT TO GOD.
He helps you in many ways,
He works in ways you cannot see.
He can even work through your friends!(just as He had sent me a group of 知心绝对，志同道合，非笔墨数　的一族。。。) This is one of the most wonderful gift He has given me... ^.^

These verses indeed comforted and strengthened me alot in these down times...What i need to do now is to humble myself, putting ALL faith in Him that He will guide me out, self-controlling and being in alert in my temper and many other matters.
Cause, i just need to suffer a little while..

He will then RESTORE ME & MAKE ME STRONG, FIRM AND STEADFAST.

The Holy Jesus Christ has died on the cross for all sinners' sins, my suffering is NOTHING compared to His. It's totally INCOMPARABLE.
There's no reason I should feel distress.

"6 Humble youselves, therefore, under God's mighty hand, that he may lift you up in due time. 1 Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you.

8 Be self-controlled and alert. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour.

9 Resist him, standing firm in the faith, because you know that your brothers throughout the world are undergoing the same kind of sufferings.

REVISION WEEK BECOMES RESTRUCTURING WEEK

This week has just flew off in a blink of an eye...today is already FRIDAY!!! My final exams for this semester is next week and yet...*sigh* Nothing much had been done. Have been coping real hard between lots of stuff, especially with the EVIL, PAINSTAKING and ANNOYING BACTERIA eating me up.

I went to the National library on the Monday which had just past. Why does the air-conditioner has to be in such a low temp. when everyone is shivering their lungs out? I'm just one of them who couldn't bear the low temp.Partly because I stayed for LONG hours. haha..that's beside the point.

Lunch time! Happily, I came out of the freezing cold 'book eating' place, and went for lunch. You know what? I met IRIS Bao Bei, NING NING Er and XIN XIN on my way out..*wuakaka* got company le...=D
I was thinking of getting something piping hot and nice that could comfort and 'defroze' the ice in me. Thought of eating laksa, but nowhere to be seen.I end up getting the Korean Mini Wok at the Bugis Food Junction, thinking I could satisfy my needs. There goes my week after the decision was made.

I'm defeated by FOOD POISONING. >< "Details are not to be told."

I missed Wed accounting class! >< Just because of my weak body.Gosh...how???

Thankfully,I have really nice people around giving their concerns to me... ^.^

There's an author (of "The Dreamer's Thought") once said,

Many people always believe that, 'Once you are fated, means you are fated to fate.'

I have Never believed nor will I believe or will I say, "I'm not sure to believe it or not."

There was a girl who's life has been laborious since young, but she is being blessed in many ways as she is a christian since young. No matter how fastidious her life was, she managed to strive through with the strength of God, the Lord Jesus Christ.

She is a girl full of ambition, preserverance and determination. She believed life could be changed for the better with the little extra efforts she tried to contribute, and to pleased almost everyone around her. However, her little efforts had always been washed down the drains whenever minor mistakes were made. That also denotes that, she needs to do alot of things to make-up for the mistakes, in order to gain the trust and 'respect' from the people around her again. Reckoning from the situation, she stands no piriority at home of course.

As years went by, the life of this girl had somehow improved. The reason was, she decided to change her perspective on the attitude towards people and to life. It has proven that her approached was right. Notwithstanding, there's still loop holes in her life. Especially in her family, she had never really understood nor in real good, close relationship with her siblings like some other families are able. Likewise, the mood swing of her mother. Thankful enough, she's closer to her mother whom she could share her happiness and sadness with. Nevertheless, things changes.

In recent past, she was being bothered with various matters regardless of at alma mater or at home. Her life was turned 180 degrees around, distressed, harried and almost disheartened. It took her quite some time to pull herself out of the dark and look at the bright side of life again.

Just as she was able to bring herself to the opstimistic perspective of life, there's always another to push her down and dampened her again. The moment she's happy, there's people who will just vent the anger on her for unknown reasons and with intent, stirred up some matters of disagreement for argument. This situation had last till this day which had never been solved.

Therefore, a question that ponders me, "为什么她的快乐总是建立在别人的怒气上呢?"

The Square Watermelon

"Japanese grocery stores had a problem. They are much smaller than in other countries and therefore don’t have room to waste. Watermelons, big and round, wasted a lot of space. Most people would simply tell the grocery stores that watermelons grow round and there is nothing that can be done about it.

That is how I would assume the vast majority of people would respond. But some Japanese farmers took a different approach. If the supermarkets wanted a square watermelon, they asked themselves, “How can we provide one?” It wasn’t long before they invented the square watermelon.

The solution to the problem of round watermelons wasn’t nearly as difficult to solve for those who didn’t assume the problem was impossible to begin with and simply asked how it could be done. It turns out that all you need to do is place them into a square box when they are growing and the watermelon will take on the shape of the box.

This made the grocery stores happy and had the added benefit that it was much easier and cost effective to ship the watermelons. Consumers also loved them because they took less space in their small refrigerators which meant that the growers could charge a premium price for them."

Am I Despair, Deplorable, Embittered or Disheartened? Or am I lacking of something in my life?

One thing I'm very sure of is, I spend less time communicating with my Father-in-heaven recently. This situation has been turning from bad to worse = DANGER ZONE. Another thing I can conclude is, I have Bad Time Management. It isn't about whether you attend workshop on time management anot or having skills planning your time. These are peanuts! However, the challenge is, Do I have the STRONGEST DETERMINATION? I used to have strong will and determination. But now, it just seems to have lost somewhere within me and I need to hunt it back! God, what am i going to do??? Many things are overwhelming me! This is breathtaking! I'm really out of my wits, God. I felt that I'm no longer committing whole-heartedly in serving cell, doing quiet time and serving you! How am I going to gain all this back again? And Holding tight onto your Words again, I know that is the only solution, But God...something, Something is just pulling me back. I want to go back into your heart of worship Lord...But there's many distracting obstacles tempting me to fall... Lord, take my hand, guide me and protect me. Teach me to manage, Teach me to influence, Teach me to walk the Lord's pathway... ...

Guess what?
I had Business Communication Lesson this morning. Surprisingly, the pre-entry mock test English paper is ready to be given back to us.

As usual, Andrea, our lecturer will list out the marks the students scored for the paper. We look at the board of scores, the highest is 132 and lowest is 80++. The total score for the paper is 150.
The following shows where you will end up in based on the range of marks you score:
below 30---> she wrote, "GO HOME."
btw 30-69--> LEVEL 1 (eng class)
btw 70-114-> LEVEL 2 (eng class)
above 115--> Diploma (U're ready)

When all of us saw what was written on the board, everybody went, "oh my... i don't think i'm eligible to enter the Diploma course."

Francisca turned to me and said, "Why not this, let us bet again and see who got the highest this time round. The one who got the highest mark must give a treat."
(this is what happened last time: she said the same thing in the same Eng class. she ended up being the one giving the treat =P)

I looked into her eyes with mouth wide opened and started giggling at her. I shook my head saying, "Although I thought of there's low possibility of being top of the class, I better not." =p
I have this thought is because, back then, the test was a surprise test. Everybody was not prepared for it. Furthermore, we were informed that it was ungraded, the more we didn't bother to do them carefully like we did them in our exam.

We waited anticipatedly for Andrea to give out the papers. Although this paper was not going to be graded, our hearts were still pounding fast. I received my paper from Andrea's hand. Taking a peek at first, 1__/150..with heart still pumping hard, i decided not to keep myself in suspense. I opened the paper and it turned out to be 132 out of 150!!!! ^^ Over the rainbow am i...

First thing was, "Thank God! He blessed me again!" =)
Second thing, "Luckily i didn't bet with Francisca." =p

Andrea made a statement after some commotion, " She better be the one who scored 132, as she is educated in Singapore. Otherwise, i've nothing to say..."

*phew*, Fortunately, i didn't disappoint My God and my lecturer...=)

A NEW SEMESTER, A BRAND NEW START ^^

Time flies really fast.

Starting from 27th April 2009, it has appeared to be my 4th semester in SHRM. After little efforts in calculating, one more year to go, I would have completed my Advanced Diploma in this institution.

It is a dilema whether to further studies in a private or government body institute. Factors are to be considered. In terms of, fees, recognition of cert. , the usefulness of the course...etc.

1st semester: Got 4As, 1B GPA: (3.8)
2nd semester: Got 3As, 2Bs GPA: (3.6)
3rd semester: Got 1A, 2Bs GPA: (3.3)
Total GPA: (10.7)
Average GPA: (3.56)

Obtaining scholarship requriement: GPA (3.75)
Lack of GPA: !!!!!! (0.19) !!!!!

4th semester is not going to be easy! I'm learning most of the management subjects such as, Hospitality of ACCOUNTING, Hospitality MARKETING, Business Communication, Human Resource & Housekeeping.

*phweew* THIS IS BREATHTAKING!!! BUT, i believe someone is always there to hold me and guide me! He is always there, looking over me, whenever i cried out for Him, He will be the FIRST one to comfort me.

The One who bless me with endless blessing, never ending love and everlasting comfort.

Although I really misses my friends back in my 'olden' days, I still enjoy the presence of my current friends in SHRM. We shared memories back in 217 South Bridge Road (Chinatown) and now, at 345 Old Nelson Road (Sembawang). This means... ... WE HAVE SHIFTED!!! =D

SHRM took over a premise which previously is an Admiralty Country Club. Hence, you can imagine how big it was now compared to the campus back then.

I'm still loving my friends over the past events and celebrations where we held or entertained ourselves with. Therefore, I'm here, not being selfish to share my happy moments with all of you! =)

TAMAN JURONG BOOK PRIZE DAY

Taman Jurong seems so much like the another home of mine. In TJ, there're many friendly people around.

Take Minister and Mrs Tharman for instance, they are the BEST political role-models whom are highly-respected by everyone of us, other than our honourable Minister Mentor Lee Kuan Yew.

Today, a Sunday, I just came back from TJCC not long ago. I was there not to be a 'KPO'(as per Mr Ong Shao Yen) but I'm there to be the MC.

From my opinion, it didn't really start of well. For no reasons, my hands were shaking, my tongue is tied up and everything seems so disorganised to me out of a sudden. The fact is, they are NOT disorganised. But it is due to the faulty AV system and the un-steady MC *opps*

However, I'm utmost glad to have this opportunity on stage mastering a public event. It adds on to another piece of valuable experience in my life. That's the reason why I always say, "I have all the 'LUCKs' with me all the time." Supporting why am I a lucky person, "Because I am a child of God & I love to be one. Being a Christian is my LIFE!!"

Although I feel I didn't done well for today's event, I always believe I can do it much more better with the next attempt. ^^

and YES! MR LKY, he helped me alot for today's event. He scripted the event for me which I don't think I draft it if I'm doing it alone. He mentioned his only 2-3 years older than me and forbids me to call him Mr Ler. But by calling him Mr Ler feels much more comfortable than calling him KY. haha...nevertheless, THANK YOU FOR THE GREAT GUIDANCE!!! I look forward to more opportunities coming up!

I met a couple of my YCSS juniors. They'd changed. (for the better or worst, i'm not here to comment!) But it's really nice to talk to them again once more. I met my YCSS staffs too! They are as friendly as usual.

haha..TO congratulate, Sherlyn Choo(YCSS) & Ang Wee Kang(JSS) for being award the SHRM school scholarship! I look forward to assist both of you in SHRM.

WHAT CHRISTMAS IS ALL ABOUT??

Christmas is the celebration of the birth of Jesus Christ. His birth changed the whole world -- and He can change your life today. Each year, it is traditional to give gifts at Christmas. Just as you give gifts to your loved ones, God is offering you a gift as well: the gift of complete forgiveness, freedom from sin, and eternal life with Him in heaven. Just like you must accept a Christmas gift for it to be yours, you must accept God’s gift of salvation. Here is how you can accept this free gift this Christmas:

1. God Loves You!
The Bible says, "God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life"
The problem is that:

2. All of us have done, said or thought things that are wrong. This is called sin, and our sins have separated us from God.
The Bible says “All have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.” God is perfect and holy, and our sins separate us from God forever. The Bible says “The wages of sin is death.”
The good news is that, about 2,000 years ago,

3. God sent His only Son Jesus Christ to die for our sins.

God reaches out in love to you and wants you to be His child. "As many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, even to those who believe on His name." You can choose to ask Jesus Christ to forgive your sins and come in to your life as your Lord and Savior.

Today's just another day of lunch service in school. Due to working overtime yesterday night, furthermore, lack of sleep. I'm unable to be in my best condition in school today.

Kitchen duties was alright today. The operations were smooth, classmates were doing well, however, there's some dispute that still arose during and after the service.

1st Dispute:
No one believes in Chef Teo's answer with any questions prompted to him. I more or less feel abit guilt towards him but there's nothing I could do to revive the situation. He end up doing the stewarding for us. That's when I feel there's a need to take over. Well...he should know what he's himself best, i've no right to comment about him.
(O.O--> Says no more, till now, honest speaking, i'm still a little disappointed with the school management.)

2nd Dispute:
After service, we are given turns to speak out anything we feel about the day regarding anything under the sky. I can understand, in the world, there's hundreds & thousands different kinds of people anywhere. That is when and why, an argument will always arise. Some people might never accept another person point of view while some people might just sit idle about things they are unhappy with.
(O.O-->Sometimes oneself must always let one's pride down and listen to the others, what they have to say.)

Monday, 6th October '08 -- Pleasantry & Nectarean

"I managed to scare you TWO times in a day!" *keke* xD

Although my school holidays are over, everything seems to remain the same. I had fun in school, church, almost anywhere. God bless me in EVERYWAYS. I have GREAT Friends and people around me! ^^ Why i use pleasantry to describe Monday?^^ Yesterday, Monday blue...YET, i had an enjoyable day! As usual, i had F&B class at 9am and ended around 12noon. Supposedly, I will be meeting Ivan at 12.10pm at Chinatown station to go for lunch together. But William suddenly sms us that they will be leaving Chevron in the early afternoon. hehex...end up, he's still punctual! =p haha... at the first thought,"that's fast, 11.37am still at JE, 12pm still able to reach CT on time. SuperB!" only then i realise, he took a cab... -_-

Thought of having lunch at Swensen's, but i cldn't remember the place out of sudden. =P hence, we walk aimlessly, searching for a place for lunch. We end up settled down for lunch at pizza hut.

Ordered:

-beef lasagne

-hawaiian pizza

we shared these two portions, at the same time, He shared many life-stories he had ever encountered over the years. Ya..here's where he got STUNNED when the chair starts moving 'BY ITSELF' =P xD HAHAHA!!!

Interesting yet 'adventurous' ... hhaha!

Such a Waste of he's $$.
Well, the BEST part of the day was, to have a nice meal at ICHIBAN at JP. We ate Sashimi, udon, tempura...etc.
I finally got the taste of SORBET.

2008 Birthday- Mine

hehex...you must be wondering,"This girl here, I thought her birthday is in january? How come there's still celebration of birthday in MID-SEP?"

Well, my cousin only send me the photographs recently. I thought it was quite memorable, so i decided to post it. =P

Last year, i celebrate my birthday with the GORs (Gift Of Reading), we watched the movie-[Death Note 2]. You can choose to view that in my previous post in january last year.

This Year, i celebrate at my xiao gu's place. As i'm working in Singapore Zoo as a part-timer back then, i stayed overnight at her place and my cousin can send me there the next morning^^

On that particular night, they ordered KFC and bought boxes of Sushis back for dinner {yumYum!}. They also bought a CHocolate cake for me! =P hmm...the interesting part is the gift. My xiao biao ge insisted that i should take a picture as in prize presentation... -_-

They said that my hp was too 'lao tao', so they bought a new one for me,at least it is a coloured one...xD haha

The following morning, my xiao biao ge brought me to HAN's for breakfast. O.o The atmosphere there was gOOD! Because it was soooo early in the morning that not many people were there. Quiet and comfortable environment with soothing music and warm lighting *.^

After breakfast, I was sent back to work again =(

hehex...BUT i REALLY enjoy my cousin's BIKE RIDE ^^

Two days ago, on monday,8th Sep, early in the morning, i had to travel all the way down to SERANGOON.
What for? -to bake a cake for my dearest twin, kun kun at Edrick's house.

Sat- 12 hours of work at chevron (never work for that long hours before in this line) haha..but it was definitely a fun and relaxing one...=) It was raining soooooo heavily when i was about to knock off. Luckily, it stopped raining when we are about to proceed home. THANK YOU Xing Long for sending me home =) -he's a GREAT guy who ensures that u are back home safely. (i was surprised! and my apologies to accidentally rejected ur call the first time =P) hehex...

Sunday- GUILT =( (not having to attend cell group in the morning as they watched movie today..and due to my tiredness..lazy to attend. Forgive me Lord. I'm trying hard.)

A Saccharine Savoury

Savoury of happiness and love surrounds...

Monday (18th Aug), I had my first final exam paper- Theory Of Food. One day study break and today's another one.

Wednesday (20th Aug), second final exam paper- Kitchen Management. Both papers went well as I had prayed hard for it since a few weeks ago. Only thing was difficult; the MCQ + True/False questions were tricky.

Today's special -PLAT DU JOUR-

After taking my paper on Kitchen Management today, Jin Kai, Ms Cassandra and me went to Maxwell Road to pack our lunch. Suddenly Jin Kai told me, "Got cake!" I replied,"Harh? What you mean by got cake? Someone's birthday?" Jin Kai answered, "Noo...no one's birthday, i bought it! To treat all of you!"

His reasons is that he knew we had examination this week, during examination perioud, everyone could have felt tense and stress. Therefore, his cake is there to Encourage us and To eliminate some stress. So nice of him right? Even the teacher and the other students says so...specially for our Class of Princess =P

1) Mango's Delight from Secret Recipes, completely indulged in the mango creamy flavoured texture when a spoonful of soft cotton-like sweeeeeet cake was sent into the mouth. The incorporation of the cream and cake melts in mouth mellifluously. The sweet sensation you would rather have.

2) Agape Substance - [uh-geyp] After much travelling, I went to 'retrieve' my poor, lonely bicycle left at the station bicycle parking lot for meerly TWO days under rain and shine. When I reached there, amazingly, a familiar yellow-striking stripe curled chain caught my attention. Just right beside my bicycle was accompanied by my charm smiling Angel's. Spur-of-the-moment, there's a feeling of my bicycle is well-secured and being well-taken care of. haha...and there in my lonesome, torned little basket of mine, laid a plastic covered piece of note and it wrote...,"To mortal." The most delcet sight to have after a day of draining brain works. Thanks Angel.^^

Humility means the quality or condition of being humble; modest opinion or estimate of one's own importance, rank in God's presence. This is an important reminder for each and everyone, especially being a leader, or even when you serve Lord in some areas.

Frequently, we always think highly of ourselves. I cannot deny this either, although others cannot see it at the outer appearance. But, don't forget, never 'Judge a book by it's cover'!No one could break into the depth of the heart except God. It is human nature that we do think very highly of ourselves when we climbed up the highest stairs.

ANGEL DISCLOSED... ^^

*TADA!!! He's my caring, loving, Sweet Angel ^^ Funny disclosure la! I at first thought he is the messenger btw both me and my angel. It was on a friday when i finished my school. He messaged me saying that my angel wants to meet me as i could not turn up on that particular Saturday to disclose this game. So must take picture and present the gift before hand to prove. So i agreed to meet him at 7pm under my blk. i arrived late abt 7.15pm like tat as to get a simple 'gift' for my angel. So i brought TWO donuts, 1 for angel, 1 for Jabez as to thank him for troubling him so much. When i arrived, saw only jabez there. So he asked me, ur angel haven come yet leh. I was, oh? ok..then wait for my angel lo. After awhile, a few secs, he say actually i'm ur angel...O.o speechless. too surprise liao. The technique he use really really uncommentable...=P *applause* just for u...=)

So sweet is my angel! ^^Our cell group is conducting an activity call angel & mortal, where the mortal won't know who is the angel. The purpose of this activitiy is to encourage one another to care for each other. hmm...interesting. The fun part is that u don't know who your angel is! Gathering at AMK Hub... ...

What a wonderful dinner with the zoo staff that day! Hmm...let me recall; should be a Monday! 7th of April. After a day of hard work, at last, we can have FUN!!! Unfortunately, some couldn't join us. People like Qiu Kun, Shawne, Amanda... ... We ate at the Hawker Centre >.* Charlotte had hokkien mee, Jade 'Bao Yu' (zhong guo mei) had chicken rice, Tai Tai had..(some noodles)...Sherman and Edrick had Wantan mee...ME? i had a plate of rice + cui pi toufu, vegtables+ a bowl of soup (super salty) *-* Edrick bought a plate of wan tan + hao jian and Tai Tai bought carrot cake....wooohooo!! Nice dinner indeed!! ^^ (forgot to take the food) :P Ps!!

i did not realise how zoo staffs/colleagues/PART-TIMER can really babble about anything under the .. 'ZOO'! Got to get use of it though..no wonder quite a number of people left zoo. haha. Maybe some people are just too sociable and conversable..But i had heard a few of the 'victims' were unhappy about it. Perhaps it's time for the gossipers to take a break?

DISCOVER SAFTI ... :P

Last saturday, on the 15th of March... Yunnan Garden Restaurant was the caterer for the graduation night dinner at SAFTI. Naturally, yunnan have to send their waiters and waitresses there to serve. As usual, i was placed at a VIP table. BUT this time round was different, it's the VVIP's table. In another words, the MOST IMPT table (V1). WIth the G-O-H Mr. Lim S... ... cannot remember. That day was hectic and that day was the first time that i made a mistake. These was due to the hastle bustle caused by the shortage of staff here and there.

Firstly, before the whole event starts, they told me to do cocktail at another venue, with 4 new C... workers and 1 new S...worker whom had nvr did cocktail before. Telling them, professional look is the most impt. They just won't listen. -_- The cocktail table was in a mess, the clean and dirty glasses are all mixed up. *GrRRrrr* (dont continue this le)

After the cocktail session, i had to rush off to serve my VIp table. hmm...worst come to worst..
first mistake on the first dish le...=( "i accidentally knocked the G-O-H with the empty dish when i was to clear the dish..." *embarressed*

Still manage to meet the SAFTI admin clerk there, Yu Ming. I had met him maybe 2-3 times already. He's one of the orgainiser. You know what? The organisers have their own walkies...and they were real 'impolite' during internal talks ><

Well, donkeys are different. Although they look dumb and slow, they do not bring out the charm in you, they ensure your safety always. They are those which looks down on the earth, approaching steps-by-steps carefully.

It had been really a LONGGGGGggg while ever since year 2008 started.
I had not been updating myself as you can see, many of my friends are all updating their blogs on their very interesting life in their new institute.

Me? I have been embarking myself in Singapore Zoo...piled under smelly animal waste, brushing the horse teeth, bathing the elephants, learning how to whine like otters.. and etc. hahaha...envy?

U all must be wondering where am i posted to... well, it's SHRM - School of Hospitality and Resort Management. (This is my SCHOOL's NAME) and my COURSE- Diploma in Hotel Management and Advance Diploma in Hospitality Management. So don't keep asking me which school i'm in already... ><>

Subject: What will they see...

Several years ago, a preacher from out-of-state accepted a call to a church in Houston, Texas. Some weeks after he arrived, he had an occassion to ride the bus from his home to the downtown area.

When he sat down, he discovered that the driver had accidentally given him a quarter too much change. As he considered what to do, He thought to himself,
"You'd better give the quarter back. It would be wrong to keep it."

Then he thought,
"Oh, forget it, it's only a quarter. Who would worry about this little amount? Anyway, the bus companygets too much fare; they will never miss it. Accept it as gift from God and keep quiet."

When his stop came, he paused momentarily at the door, then he handed the quarter to the driver and said,
"Here, you gave me too much change."

The driver, with a smile, replied,
"Aren't you the new Preacher in town? I have been thinking a lot lately about going somewhere to worship. I just wanted to see what you would do if i gave you too much change. I'll see you at church on Sunday."

When the preacher stepped off the bus, he literally grabbed the nearest light pole, held on, and said,
"Oh God, I almost sold your Son for a quarter."

Our lives are the only bible some people will ever read. This is a really scary example of how many people watch us as Christians and will put us to the test!

Always be on guard - and remember -

You carry the name of Christ on your shoulders when you call yourself

"Christians."

PSALMS 46

During my bible study this morning, I came across these verses. It is indeed an huge encouragement and comfort to me at this point of time when I am going to face an important examination. The O level. Although O level examination is one month away, my preparations are still never done enough. Still as slack as ever, even worst. =( Prelim is next week. My revisions are all done half way... haiz... my laziness never change...

"God is our refuge and strength. An ever-present help in trouble" Psalm 46:1

This verse came to me and told me that, there's a God always there for me! He's my strength and refuge! What do i fear of? I asked myself. So, regardless of what, i musn't give in to my examination stress. I am going to CONQUER IT and overcome the fear... I can and I MUST do it.

Sometimes, communication to God is just like travelling on a road. There might be times there are jams and times that are very accessible.

This can resemble by a telephone call too! BUT, the difference is, there isn't any records that says:
" If you want more blessings, please press 2"

Cause God says:
" Call to me and I will answer you and tell you great and unsearchable things you do not know." JEREMIAH 33:3

Sometimes, when we asked for God, there also will NOT be any recordings saying:
"Sorry, there isn't anybody available at your service at this moment, we appreciate your precious phonecall, please hold on and we will be at your service very immediately."

Well, communicating with God needs two-way communication. We need to pray earnestly and sincerely before him. All our prayers will be answered. =)

HAPPY TEACHERS' DAY!!!!!!!

Last Friday was an early celebration for the teachers' from the students in YCSS.

My class 4E1 was super duper FUN & JOYOUS! Not to mention the other classes, because I did not walk around as I'm only concern about 4e1. =P sorry~ We spent quite a LONG time planning this event, so cannot blame us for focusing more on ourselves =P SORRY~~

THANK YOU TO ALL 4E1 CLASSMATES!!!

UR CONTRIBUTIONS HAD INDEED PAID OFF!!!

LOVE EVERYONE OF YOU FOREVER!!!!!

Really, if not for those contributors, we would not be able to carry out the event successfully. I guess this will be ours most memorable event ever and 4EVER. Am I right? =) XUE LI, u had spent most time and effort in this event. You worth a *round of applause*. Thanks Xue. WEI LING, you too!! U'd face with some problems but it never brings you down. 4E1, u had certainly shown GREAT class spirit during these event. U made me understand fully what a CLASS SPIRIT is. =) I'm glad i felt that fulfilling moment.
