=) is what i could give today...*smiles* :) Sunday morning! cooL...woke up around 5+ AM!!! Quite tiring but at least i could last through the service without fishing. Great!Great sermon today indeed! I am able to pull it through just because god give me the strength to make it! He wants me to listen to today's gospel and it really comforted me alot! I don't really feel anything regarding yesterday matter anymore. =) smiles (= hehex! Today's gospel is based on Mark 6:14-29: "It talks about John, a prophet was arrested by King Herod, for mentioning the king is not lawful to marry the wife of his brother. But he does not dare to behead him cause he fear John, known to be a righteous and holy man. So he just locked him into the prison. Unfortunately, opportunity came on a birthday banquet. Herod's daughter danced for him. Herod was pleased and was willing to grant anything she wishes to have. She ran out and ask her mother, Herodias who nursed a grudge against John. She wanted the head of John the Baptist. King Herod was disteressed but because of his oaths, he had to do so."
From John the baptist head, we learned that John was brave in passing god's words and how we must treat our gultiness in a correct way. If we keep feeling guilty, it will led to depression.One more point, is that we must thank those who insult us, scold us, dislike us and hate us. Cause this people let us realise our own mistakes and we will learn to improve ourselves from it and become a better person. Whereas, if people kept praising you, you would not regonise the weakness in you and will led to arrogant.Eveytime you are hurt by the words that people said to you, don't worry! Don't take it to heart! Take it easy! God will help you to protect from any harm! Serious! Psalm 121:6-8
