UNIQUELY SPORTS DAY--- 4E1This is our 4E1 class T-shirt. We actually want to be unique! But unluckily, some others just wanted to be an "companient" in nicer words. Sadly, we seems not to stand out anymore...BUT i still LOVE my CLASs!!! *WEEEeeee!!!!*This cartoon got meaning one wor! ~~~K&G~~~*wink* :p
This is the back of our shirt. Our names formed a apple shape surrounding the animae, a boy and a girl. Which means our class can really mix very well! =) ... sometimes not true :P My beloved 4E1... ... ...
ONe extra...can spot?
We had alot of shots. One informal that we forced Ms Lim. hahaha...=P
hehheh... we actually really hope to get the level champion for the last year. Unfortunately, Just at the LAST min, VERY LAST min...the other class took over our position. It really disappoint us cause we were leading throughout. But never mind, what's over it's over... funny, we still quarrel with Mrs Lim. (Mdm Ang)
But i think our class had really put in the spirit in different ways.
Thank you 4E1! U'll always be remembered. :)
continue... MARCH 'OCCUPATION'
There's alot of preparation to be done in March also. Lots of things to do and handle.
During the last two week of March, I myself, teachers, HCI student and Mr Ee Cheong are all busy preparing for my presentation on Tri-Touch Bodynits Scholarship on the last Sat of March. It was a tiring process. We had to spent every precious time in school or individual, not letting the time gone to waste. I had to go for the first round of selection on that sat. My first topic was, "Closing the gap between the poor and rich". I interviewed Mr Thaman, and i'm fortunate to have many people helping me in this. Ms Lee spends her time during my recess breaks to do research, Mr Ee Cheong uses his resting time to prepare me for my speech and research papers and Dao Yuan from HC, help me to do my report. Most of the things were done by them. Thank you! With this, i'm able to clear the first round of selection.
The second round was tough. My topic was, "Reach out to the out-of -school youths"We do not have wireless connection and unable to be resoureful. Although the 2nd round was more stable, the Impromptu speaking still pulls me down. I did not manage to get the scholarship which is determinated from the 2nd round, upon receiving a letter of notification on 8th April 2007, Sat.
Although i did not manage to get this scholarship, i think it has been a wonderful and special experience to me. It challenges me to improve further. At least i've been awarded the Skills of Managing, Engaging and Enjoying. =P
MARCH "OCCUPATION"
Hello!!! I'm back. You all must be thinking, sure i've a long long nice break. Unfortunately, yes, i've a long break, but a 'unbreakable' break. haha...twist your brain a little and you will understand :P
OK! What do i mean by march occupation?
It means, during the month of march, what are the things that exactly occupied my time in march.
1st!
I had attend a course on "Public Speaking for Engineers". There are 3 lessons altogther.
First day was on the 6th of march 2007, i've learnt the Essential Skills of Public Speaking:
-Importance of speaking
-How to organize a speech
-The purposes of speaking
-Gestures
-Vocal
-Visual aids
etc.
That day's speaker was Casey See King Clai. He seems to be a very experienced speaker when i first heard him conducting the lesson. But after hearing from Mr Ee Cheong, it was really unbelieveable that Mr See(Casey), had only joined the club (two years ago).<-- not sure whether is it correct. It is a beneficial course. I'm fortunate to be invited by a toastmaster to attend this useful course. He's none other than Ee Cheong, the ex-president of toastmaster club. =) Below is a photo of him and me! :P He has two children. They are very cute and shy. Too bad i do not have photos to show all of u. =(

That day, learnt some new terms: 1. Technically unsound--not good in technical, ie engineering issues
2. Inadequate--not enough
3.Numerate--give numbers, be specific in numbers
The 2nd lesson, is held on the 13th March 2007. The lesson is about: Effective Public Speaking. The speaker for that day was Kenneth Cheong. I've learnt:
-Writing a report -Spicing up a presentation -Posture again -Sign posting
Mr Ee Cheong taught me new phrase again! He uses this phrase to descibe me.
"IRON FIST IN A VELVET GLOVE"
which means, although i look weak at the appearance, my inner self was actually stronger than what is expected. =) So, *don't provoke me* *wuahahaha*
The 3rd 'lesson' is basically a presentation given by the participants. Luckily i'm not one of them. This was to train them in Impromptu speaking.
I took alot of photos that day too!
